Face The Music held its Holiday recital this past Sunday at the Manordale Community Centre. Everyone did a fantastic job and when all was said and done, Face The Music donated close to a 100 pounds of food to the Ottawa Food Bank and $300.00 to the Ottawa Mission. Thanks to everyone for making this recital such a huge success!

Face the Music is excited to annouce that this year's overall winner of the Ottawa 67's "Sing For Your Team" Anthem contest winner is Taryn Waldorf!  Taryn will be singing the national anthem at the December 6th game where the 67's will take on the Mississauga St. Michael's Majors.  Congratulations Taryn, we're all very proud of you!

Due to yesterday's snow fall Face the Music has rescheduled its Holiday Recital to January 18th, 2009.  We thank all the parents and students who were happy to make this slight change.  We've decidied that the holidays can be celebrated any time of the year as long as you're surrounded by great company and wonderful performers!  Face the Music wishes everyone a Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukah and a Happy New Year!

Acts returning this year are Triple Threat, X-Factor, Megan Laurence, Jenner Hughes, and Erica True. Face The Music will also be unveiling a new group and a few new soloists. This year's show promises to be hotter than ever! Don't miss out!  Also, don't forget to check out some of our soloist on the Scotia Bank Stage at 7pm on the 15th, 17th, 22nd, 23rd, and 24th.

We are pleased to inform parents and students that Miss Cris will be holding its 2nd Annual Ottawa Idol this year. Many of you already know that are very own Melin Peng was last year's winner. Face The Music held its Holiday recital this Sunday at the Manordale Community Centre. Everyone did a fantastic job and when all was said and done, Face The Music donated close to a 100 pounds of food to the Ottawa Food Bank and over $50.00 to the Ottawa Mission for its Christmas dinner. Thanks to everyone for making this recital such a huge success!

Face The Music is pleased to announce that it will be holding its Holiday recital on Sunday, December 17th at the Manordale Community Centre. Instead of charging admission, students and staff ask that everyone who attends the event bring a non-perishable food item for the food bank or $2 to donate to the Ottawa Mission. Last year we collected over 100 pounds of food and almost $100.00 for these charities.

Congratulations to Megan Laurence and Jenner Hughes who last night performed for Loeb Inc. Recognition Banquet at the Chateau Cartier. The two performers entertained the honourees and their guests from 7pm to 11pm. A great evening was had by all!

Face the Music is pleased to announce that on Saturday, October 28th, Haijiao Yan will be the featured guest singer at the 3rd annual Ottawa Chinese Karaoke Contest hosted by TTCEN. The event will be held at the Carleton University Alumni Theatre from 6pm to 10pm.

Best wishes to Laura Holland and Jamie Simpson who are among a few vocalist chosen to advance to the semi-finals this Friday.

The students will be performing 2 daily shows on the Giant Tiger stage at 5pm and 8:45pm beginning on August 17th and running until August 28th. Acts returning this year are One 2 One, Triple Threat, X-Factor, Megan Laurence, Jenner Hughes, and Laura Holland. Face The Music will also be unveiling a new group and a few new soloists. The students have been working diligently and this year's show promises to be hotter than ever! Don't miss out!

The event will take place over a two-week period at Robbie's Spaghetti House on St. Laurent Blvd. with the winner being crowned on February 3rd. Face The Music appeared at the National Library on Friday to perform a one hour show for E.A.G.L.E Training. Hot groups like One 2 One, X-Factor, and Triple Threat from this year's Ottawa Super Ex performed along with soloists, Megan Laurence, Jenner Hughes, Laura Holland, and Erica True. The performance included a few Christmas songs along with group singing and dance numbers. It was an amazing night!
